It is a home-like accommodation on Kurima Island, located to the southwest, which you reach after crossing two islands from Shimoniya Airport. The interior is made of wood, and the unique smell of the wood combined with the tatami floor is quite healing. You can park about four cars in the parking lot, where they also grow various things like banana trees, passion fruit, and peppers. When I visited at the end of March, they were generously providing bananas, probably because it was their growing season. They would fill a small basket in the living room when it was running low, and while small, they were sweet and delicious.^^ The facilities include a living room, shared kitchen, shared shower, shared washing machine, shared toilet, and rooms. However, the shower room's floor is always damp, which can be somewhat inconvenient. Aside from that and the orange-tinted low lighting, it was an excellent accommodation for me. (The lighting might actually be a plus, as it helps you sleep well...) The weather was rainy and windy throughout my trip, so it was disappointing, but I vividly remember the host and staff kindly escorting me outside on the day of checkout, encouraging me to come back on a clear day. I plan to return if I get the chance again. By the way, breakfast is set up by the staff between 7 AM and 10 AM, where you can enjoy bread with jam or butter, as well as coffee (you can toast your bread yourself using a toaster or oven). Be sure to try it with butter! It’s warm, savory, and delicious!^-^ Additionally, if you book in advance, you can also enjoy Okinawan home-cooked meals on certain days (I couldn’t eat it because I didn't have timeㅠ), so for those who can, I highly recommend it!
