“Great Stay - Small Rooms”
I stayed here for 6 nights. The rooms are clean and tidy. However, they are super small. If you are traveling with family members, especially young ones these rooms will not fit your family. When I was there, folks were leaving their luggages and strollers out in the hallway because the rooms are that small. They definitely could not fit a standard size stroller. Just not possible and if there are two people and one person has two luggages ... Plan to store one out in the hall. I actually booked a room for three people for me solo... And the room they gave me for for two comfortably... 3 I just didn't see how without having one person in discomfort. Also if you are over 6'2" (or 187 cm) plan to shower sitting down. You will not be able to stand in the shower stall. However, other than the small rooms - the staff was super nice. I was able to store my luggage there before check in ... I showed up at 9am due to scheduling some activities and then check in wasn't until 3pm. They made change for me (broke my large yen bills down) several times and even printed some tickets I forgot on my dresser at home an ocean away (small fee 15 (maybe 50... Can't remember... It was one of the two) per page. Your file has to be a PDF file or else they cannot print it (note: standard Japanese paper is not the same as in the USA). I've seen reviews that says the hotel is away from public transport... Those people aren't very bright... Take the escalator outside the hotel up and you have access to a train line (in two minutes or less)... Take it down and walk 3-5 minutes then you have 3 major subway lines at your finger tips.... Super easy to get places. That said there isn't any entertainment nearby as it is in the business district. So a bunch of salary men and that's about it... But again easy access to trains and subways. Oh wait ... A 5 minute walk slight SW and you'll get to Tokyo's Italian Town... If you have luck, you'll hit the neighborhood's festivals they have at times. And there is the large Hamarikyu Gardens to the east (about a 10-15 minute walk because there's not direct access due to the hotel being in a business building and that building has major road arteries all around it with not crosswalks). I wanted to spend a day there with a bento box but didn't get a chance to do that. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. The facility was clean and nice. The staff were great. And I didn't have struggles, though I was a solo traveler. I can definitely see others struggling if they set either their expectations too high, is physically (bodily) large or tall beyond average sizes, and/or you have two or more luggages (of like the check in varieties). I would recommend the place. 4/5 stars. 95% out of a 100.
