First time in JP and i'm so glad to have booked with Osaka View Hotel at Honmachi. Rooms and facilities are always clean. They convert their dining hall into a common space for hotel guests to lounge, have coffee or play games from 12 noon to evening. The coffee is great. The breakfast that we added on our last day (paid extra) — it was sumptuous, nutritious and possibly the healthiest breakfast I've had in my life. The hotel is near Honmachi station from Midosuji lane. If you don't mind walking, we enjoyed the stroll to and from Shinbaisuji and Dotonbori 2x. Would definitely want to stay here again. “The hotel facilities are good, and the staff are very friendly.”
The front staff were so friendly, and I appreciated their good assistance when I asked for what I wanted. It's convenient that the lobby allows us to take as many amenities like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and cotton swabs as we want! As mentioned in other reviews, the room is a bit small for opening suitcases, but the bed is quite wide and long, which is nice. There is also a hanger for coats. 👍 While there aren’t many TV channels, there is a TV, a refrigerator, and the bathroom is clean! The hot water works well, and the water pressure is good. The heater keeps the room warm (I was worried as this doesn't always work well in Japan). I had a very comfortable two-night stay! It’s in a quiet location, not noisy, but close to a drugstore (Sugi Pharmacy?) and convenience store, so it was great as it's not too secluded. I’m very satisfied and would love to revisit this place if I come back to Osaka!

“It seems like a place I would revisit if I go to Osaka again.”
I booked one triple room and two twin rooms for a family trip to Osaka with my parents. The room was clean, had a bathtub, and overall it seemed like a good accommodation. I can't say the place was spacious, but I think it's reasonable for the price range.
As we added more plans for the front, I booked the triple room for one more day separately, and I requested via email to use the same room. They also accommodated our twin room for the following day right next to it, which made the travel and accommodation usage much more convenient.
There's a convenience store a short walk away, and the station is also close, so the location is good. However, I noticed from previous reviews and experienced it myself that on the morning of our check-out day, the cleaning staff sometimes just opened the door. Although we had 1-2 hours to spare before check-out, I think this should be addressed with further training or guidance for the staff.
