The Almonds, Cebu Stayed: July 10–12, 2026 (2 Nights) Room: One-Bedroom Unit Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) We stayed at The Almonds for two nights and came away with a generally positive experience. It’s not a luxury hotel, nor does it advertise itself as one. Instead, it offers clean, spacious accommodations at a reasonable price. Like any property, it has its strengths and a few shortcomings, but overall, I think it’s a good option for travelers who value practicality and affordability. 🛏️ Room & Comfort – ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) The one-bedroom unit comfortably accommodated the three of us without feeling crowded. It came with one king-sized bed and one single bed, and there was still enough room for our luggage and to move around comfortably. The layout was simple but functional. The only downside was that the bed in our unit was a bit squeaky and slightly uneven. We also noticed a loose cabinet hinge. These seemed more like maintenance issues specific to our room rather than problems with the hotel as a whole. 🏨 Facilities – ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) The hotel has a few amenities that made our stay more convenient. There’s a swimming pool for guests who want to relax, a working elevator, and a spacious underground parking area that can accommodate everything from motorcycles to larger vehicles like vans. I also appreciated the small convenience store in the lobby. If you’re traveling alone and relying on public transportation, you’ll need to walk a short distance from the main road, and the alley leading to the property can be quite dark at night. 🔇 Noise Level – ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) This was probably the weakest part of our stay. The walls don’t seem to provide much sound insulation, so noise from neighboring rooms can be heard quite easily. We could hear conversations, doors closing, and people moving around.
