“Good potential, but poorly maintained”
We stayed at Sea Two Pool Villa for 9 nights, and unfortunately our experience was mixed and overall disappointing. Because the property couldn’t accommodate us in one villa for the entire stay, we had to change villas partway through. We spent the first 6 nights in a Superior Villa, which was small but acceptable for two people. The pool itself wasn’t extremely cold, but due to the villa’s positioning, there was no sun at all, which made the pool area unpleasant and uncomfortable and not very inviting. The outdoor seating consisted only of concrete benches without cushions, which were very uncomfortable. The property in general feels rundown and poorly maintained. It’s easy to see that it must have been nice when it first opened, but there has been little effort to maintain or update it. Paint was peeling, light fixtures were loose or falling off, and many details showed clear wear and neglect. Cleanliness was also an issue — our feet would turn black inside the villa, so we ended up wearing shoes indoors. When we moved to the Deluxe Villa for the remaining nights, the space was much larger and did get sun, which was a positive. However, when we first arrived, the sheets had powder on them and visible stains, and there was hair in the bathroom. This was very uncomfortable, especially when moving into what should have been a clean, fresh villa. We contacted the front desk and the sheets were changed, but it immediately raised concerns about overall cleanliness and attention to detail. Maintenance issues continued in the Deluxe Villa as well: • Missing tiles in the pool • Peeling paint • A clogged outdoor shower, leaving us standing in about 2 inches of water Another major downside was the nearby shooting range. From around noon until 5–6 PM, the constant sound of shooting made it difficult to relax, and this is not mentioned anywhere in the property description. The cleaning staff were very kind and friendly, but the front desk was not very helpful. When we accidentally broke a glass, we paid 100 baht, yet never received a replacement. It often felt like guest comfort was not a priority. We also experienced an issue with the AC remote, which had a dead battery. The temperature was stuck at 18°C, making the room extremely cold at night. We kept waking up trying to adjust it but couldn’t. The atmosphere of the property seems more suited for young groups looking to party. There were loud guests, and *** smells were noticeable around the property. That might work for some travelers, but it wasn’t what we were looking for. In summary: This place has potential and could be beautiful, but due to poor maintenance, cleanliness issues, noise, and lack of attentive management, we would not return. If you’re not very concerned about upkeep and just want a place to party, it may be fine. For travelers who value cleanliness, comfort, and a relaxing stay, we would recommend looking elsewhere.
