Hotel Artemide
Termini Central Station,Rome - View on map
"Booked a very last minute trip to Rome, and, the Artemide Hotel. For first time visitors to Rome, this hotel was in a great location on a main thoroughfare. It had easy access to Termini (train station) and the metro, as well as, taxis when needed. It was also within walking distance (a nice hike with good walking shoes) to historic attractions, as well as, groceries, fruit stands, retail shops and restaurants. We asked at the desk for a nice 'pizza' place nearby and they recommended "Target', an upscale spot a few short blocks away. The food and house wine was excellent. Our room was graciously upgraded upon check-in to a modern deluxe suite. It was spacious, clean and very quiet. European beds are firm but we found it very comfortable. The bathroom vanity was a bit small, but, the water pressure was great. There was also an in-room safe and coffee machine with nice assortment of cookies and crackers, and, yummy candy by the bedside. Surprisingly, the in-house mini-bar was stocked and everything in it was complimentary! A nice breakfast was also included in the room rate. At check-in since the room wasn't quite ready, they provided a complimentary welcome drink at their rooftop restaurant. We had a great lunch there on our last day, enjoying the chance to soak up some sun. The hotel has a cozy seating area off the lobby with beverages available throughout the day, as well as, a spa. (Note: The only downside was when the hotel called a taxi for a ride to a restaurant our first evening. Through no fault of theirs...the driver over-charged us. For an 11 euro metered fare, he took our 20, and, tipped himself 6 euros, instead of giving the correct change back! Make sure to be bold and ask for the correct change.) I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for first time visitors to Rome."

Hotel Nord Nuova Roma

"We had the most comfortable stay at this hotel. I'm glad I believed the reviews on trip advisor and booked this hotel. Our room wasn't big during the first leg of our journey but it was quite comfortable and well furnished. We stayed again at the hotel on our last night in Italy. This time, however, our room was a lot bigger than the previous one. So I'm not sure whether were were upgraded to a delux room as, both times, we had booked an economy room. Anyhow, the hotel is quite pricey by 3-star standards but unlike some other hotels in Europe that claim to be 3-stars, this hotel is most definitely a 3-star hotel- clean, comfortable, very friendly staff, perfect location...made our stay in Rome a positive experience. Hotel 87 eighty-seven

"My husband and I came to Rome for a long romantic weekend and chose this hotel as it's amazing location- 150 meters from Fontana do Trevi. From check in to check out we were pleased to feel like we are VIP. Carlo who upgraded our room without us asking and welcomed us with a smile every morning, Enrico who helped with recommendations, Mario who entertained us every night when we had drinks on the bar (we usually don't drink! It was the company!), And the rest of the ultra friendly staff- they made our stay memoriable. Rome is great, the hotel was great, but It's the people who make it unforgettable. "

Hotel Ripa Roma

"Hotel situated just on the outskirts of Rome (Trastevere district), making for an easy 15min stroll to the town centre. Hotel was clean and modern. Buffet breakfast served college dorm style but was decent quality. Value for money was good, considering room size was reasonable and included a small onsite gym."

Gioberti Art Hotel
Termini Central Station,Rome - View on map
"I was very impressed with the amazing hospitality of Fabrizio (I am sorry if I got your name wrong, he is the front desk staff who checked us in on the 2nd of April), and the room quality of Gioberti Art hotel! I am really delighted by his service. I was looking forward to my return stay on 9th April but I accidentally overlooked and booked Gioberti Hotel instead. I was anxious at first when Elisa told me I did not have a booking for the 9th, she wanted to help me transfer but unfortunately they were fully booked. Thankfully, our room at Gioberti Hotel did not disappoint. I love the comfy and contemporary designed bathroom of Gioberti Art’s Superior room, as well as the spacious bedroom which has a long three seater sofa. A welcome message was flashed on the TV, very thoughtful. I thought we have to pay for bottled mineral water and only found out from its parent Gioberti Hotel that it is complimentary. Perhaps it would be thoughtful to inform guests that bottled water is complimentary. If Gioberti Art bedroom is as modern as Hotel Gioberti, it would be a match made in heaven. I highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends. I am certainly looking forward to my next stay at Gioberti/Gioberti Art hotel. I won’t look anywhere else to stay when in Rome. Gioberti is my first choice. Even though it is 25mins walk to Trevi Fountain area I don’t mind it. (I hope they upgrade me for my loyalty) "

THE INDEPENDENT HOTEL

"This was my first time using agoda, and I'm extremely satisfied. The hotel looked exactly like the pictures, and I found other reviews to be true to my experience. All the hotel staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. I visited other cities during my trip to Italy, so I had two reservations for this hotel in Rome. When returning for my second reservation, the hotel left me a complimentary bottle of wine along with a thank you note for returning. They also left us a small treat for my birthday. As with any major city, the areas surrounding major train stations may not always be the most appealing location. However, the proximity to Termini station was extremely convenient (two minute walk), and there was also a taxi area very close by (when calling a taxi, the driver would arrive within 2min. I would definitely stay here again when in Rome."

Hotel Morgana

"Overall a very pleasant stay. Hence the five stars. The location is perfect next to the train station Termini and Metro. The front desk was very helpful with directions and information. Breakfast was a large variety of dishes. The room was big and modern. Bathroom was a highlight. Now for negatives. The safe was broken with wires missing. We reported it to the front desk in the first hour. Told it would be replaced. Never was even after 4 days when we left. The coffee system at breakfast should be tweaked. They ask you if you want cappuccino some mornings. Some morning not asked. I prefer my coffee black. They have black coffee at the buffet line with no coffee cups. You have to ask and they bring you a cup. Why not just have some coffee cups next to the coffee? This happens every morning. Restaurant Rosy, which is couple doors down, is excellent. Not the restaurant closest to your right after leaving the hotel. ( That restaurant charge for bread and cover charge) Restaurant "

"The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were great and very clean. The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance of a lot of sights. They accommodated our request to have our room near our friends/family that we were traveling with and even upgraded all of us to suites. All in all it was a wonderful experience. We will be staying here again the next time that we are in Rome."
