Hotel Artemide
Termini Central Station,Rome - View on map
"Booked a very last minute trip to Rome, and, the Artemide Hotel. For first time visitors to Rome, this hotel was in a great location on a main thoroughfare. It had easy access to Termini (train station) and the metro, as well as, taxis when needed. It was also within walking distance (a nice hike with good walking shoes) to historic attractions, as well as, groceries, fruit stands, retail shops and restaurants. We asked at the desk for a nice 'pizza' place nearby and they recommended "Target', an upscale spot a few short blocks away. The food and house wine was excellent. Our room was graciously upgraded upon check-in to a modern deluxe suite. It was spacious, clean and very quiet. European beds are firm but we found it very comfortable. The bathroom vanity was a bit small, but, the water pressure was great. There was also an in-room safe and coffee machine with nice assortment of cookies and crackers, and, yummy candy by the bedside. Surprisingly, the in-house mini-bar was stocked and everything in it was complimentary! A nice breakfast was also included in the room rate. At check-in since the room wasn't quite ready, they provided a complimentary welcome drink at their rooftop restaurant. We had a great lunch there on our last day, enjoying the chance to soak up some sun. The hotel has a cozy seating area off the lobby with beverages available throughout the day, as well as, a spa. (Note: The only downside was when the hotel called a taxi for a ride to a restaurant our first evening. Through no fault of theirs...the driver over-charged us. For an 11 euro metered fare, he took our 20, and, tipped himself 6 euros, instead of giving the correct change back! Make sure to be bold and ask for the correct change.) I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for first time visitors to Rome."

Hotel 87 eighty-seven
Spagna,Rome - View on map
"My husband and I came to Rome for a long romantic weekend and chose this hotel as it's amazing location- 150 meters from Fontana do Trevi. From check in to check out we were pleased to feel like we are VIP. Carlo who upgraded our room without us asking and welcomed us with a smile every morning, Enrico who helped with recommendations, Mario who entertained us every night when we had drinks on the bar (we usually don't drink! It was the company!), And the rest of the ultra friendly staff- they made our stay memoriable. Rome is great, the hotel was great, but It's the people who make it unforgettable. "

Palladium Palace Hotel
Termini Central Station,Rome - View on map
"The hotel is only a 3 minute walk to Roma Termini train station therefore it makes it so much more convenient to travel to anywhere in Italy by train and hop in and out of the airport train. There are many shops, restaurants, and the main attractions in Rome are walkable from 15-20 mins. The hotel itself is a bit outdated in terms of furnishings, bathroom was from the 80s, but otherwise clean. The rate is a bit expensive but the convenient location made it worth it to stay in this hotel. "

Escape Luxury suite
Trevi,Rome - View on map
"We stayed 5 days in the royal suite with sauna. - Location is walking distance to most attractions - Safd and secure place - Great breakfast served in your room - Daily room cleaning / service - Our suite was very wide, very clean, modern well equipped with big comfy beds and white lights..Minibar prices very resonable - Staff are very nice, smiling and willing to help. Marina was great - The only thing that could be fixed is the bathroom window curtain in our suite which was transparant and should be replaced by dark blackout curtain - Overall excellent place, highly recommended for your stay in Rome"

Hotel Accademia
Trevi,Rome - View on map
"Located just 130 steps from Fontana Di Trevi makes it a the perfect location for your visit. Rooms are fine, not so fancy, but clean. you can upgrade to the "Club rooms" but we didn't find it necessary. Breakfast is quite good comparing to what we're used to in Italy. Hotel staff is really great, thanks to Francesca who was charming and very service oriented. Would defiantly consider this hotel on future visits to Rome."

Hotel White

"We selected this hotel because of a recommendation from a friend due to the location. We could stay here and walk to most of the historical locations in Rome. The room was small but very neat and tidy. The staff were helpful and the breakfast excellent, so book with breakfast included if you can. There are plenty of restaurants as soon as you walk out the door, but look for the restaurants in the back streets to find better prices for meals and drinks."

Colonna Palace Hotel
Pantheon,Rome - View on map
"I travel extensively an for a 4 star hotel a little dated but this is not a problem The staff go out there way for you I.e sending you photographed I’d of your passport searching through your room whilst waiting to get into a Rome football match ( remember your i.d for every attraction) not like me an idiot and forgetting I.d . The hotel is very clean In a prime location Like I said a little dated but your in Rome and the location and staff completely make up for it 15 minutes walk to any attraction apart from the Vatican which is on the edge I highly recommend this hotel on location and the staff a complete a 5 star service I will definitely stay again The only reason I bring up dated is due to bad weather meaning I had to spend more time in the room than needed otherwise perfect "
